Adriano Katkic
How thick should a climbing rope should be? Or it doesn't matter at all?
gymgreg
The bigger the rope, the more demanding it will be on your grip.I have a 5 cm diameter manila rope and really like it.
Alvaro Antolinez
I think that 1,5 inch diameter (38 mm) is considered the normal rope, 2 inch rope is a fat rope ( 5 cm), very good for developing grip strenght. If you are not proficient with the normal one begin with that, the thick one could cause problems if you try too soon.
