David Barclay
A while ago I saw a picture of a room with a pull up bar mounted in the corner of the room. Each end was at a 45 degree angle to the wall, and was spaced out enough that one could do levers and pull overs without bashing one's feet into the corner. A typical ground floor in the North American house would have enough headroom to have the bar higher than shoulder height, but still have the head space for muscle ups.I can easily see how this is done from the construction side of things. Find the wooden uprights that the dry wall is mounted on, and measure your bar to fit them. But I am not sure on the bar. Does this sound like something that is commercially available, or is a DIY solution with a welder required? The biggest challenge, in all truth, is convincing my significant other that our living room simply must have a chin up bar to be complete...thanks,David
