Planche training for HS progress...

Not really a question, just throwing out there that ever since I have started Seriously training the Planche I have noticed my freestanding HS time double, if not quadruple!!!

I think this is mainly because of the brutal amount of wrist strength involved, also probably the back strength also has a strong carryover effect. What do you guys think about this?

yes there is some overlap, but when it comes down to it they are two different moves. However, in the early stages of your training, the more time you spend on your hands in any position, the better.

As you progress you will probably see less carryover between the two
