Cole Dano
I have it and consider it to be an amazing book. It is more intended for body workers and those looking for an integrated viewpoint of anatomy. The main premise is that the body can be viewed tensegiety structure with tensions and slacks in muscles affecting other muscles on the same train, hence the name. Well actually he looks at it from the point of view of fascia which covers and connects all tissue of the body, so its all it that sense one net of matter.I don't recommend it as a first anatomy book as it does assume some background, but if you have a reasonable command of anatomy its not too hard. The author has a way of weaving the subject together in a way that keeps it an interesting, if dense read. The 2nd edition is also one of the most beautiful and well organized books i've had the pleasure to read. For anyone interested in understanding movement as more than sum of its parts its highly recommended. However, i can't honestly say how it will help in Gymnastics other than the most general way or perhaps on the therapeutic side.
