Rep Speed/Tempo

Question for Coach Sommer,

When doing basic strength exercises, how fast of a tempo do you want to use? Once you select this tempo should you keep it the same for the entirety of the steady state cycle? Should the tempo of all your exercises be the same or should you use different tempos for the different workouts of the week?

Reviewing the GB WODs will give you some examples of the different tempos that I use with my athletes.

Yes, if you are employing a SSC you will continue to use the same tempo throughout.
