One more course - which one

Hi Everyone,

I have been doing GST for about 5 months. Foundation and then I dream of being able to do a good hand stand so I have the handstand course and my flexibility needs a lot of work so I have the front split program. I have found that this has helped my running greatly. So much easier, better cadence etc.

My question is, I am loving the feeling of increased mobility so much that I wanted to get another course. Would you recommend Middle Split or the Bridge program. I'm not sure my week would allow both but keen to learn new stretches to add to my week anyway on an ad hoc basis?

Many thanks, Nigel

Hi Nigel,

Thanks for reaching out and happy to hear you are enjoying the programs :)

If you had to pick one of this courses I’d pick based on your weak links. If you are having a hard time with shoulder mobility I’d add the TB course in order to address this for your Handstand work.

Thanks Pauline.

The HS is progressing pretty well and all areas seem to be moving in line with each other (the exception is probably my poor first knuckle mobility which seems to be common and I am addressing separately now).

General hamstring, quad, lower back flexibility is definitely my weak point, so in that case it sounds like middle split would be the best option for me. I guess I wanted to check that they didn't overlap too much and would in fact compliment each other? Sounds like that makes sense?

Thanks again.

That’s awesome to hear, Nigel :)

Then I’d go for the Middle Split series. Working on other areas of your hip joint might help you advance further in the FS series. MS is a great compliment to your current schedule.
