Ian Christiansen
Hello, I'm a beginner, and have pretty bad form in my pancake during a straddle. I have a rounded back, and have read that it's likely hamstring mobility that's the problem. After warming up I can stand and put my palms on the floor. Other than sitting on blocks or pillows, any other suggestions for how I can scale this back, and break into a good pancake straddle?
Pauline Taube
Hi Ian, There can be different reasons for why the pancake is getting difficult. It can be tight hips and hamstrings. The Front Split course focuses on the hamstrings and which can also be helpful in order to develop a pancake
