Neal Winkler
Here is a updated list of non-swinging elements on the rings and how they figure into the FIG code of points. I chose non-swinging elements because not all of us have the facilities to be swinging around (I can't even hang from my rings). This list includes elements that I thought could mostly be done in a non-gymnastics gym setting if your lucky to have enough ceiling space. Maybe I'm wrong about that though!ASlow inlocate from hangKip to supportBack kip to supportL-sit or straddle l-sitBack leverFront leverPress to handstand with bent body and bent armsPiked forward roll to support (they call it felge which I have no idea what that means)Piked backward roll to supportBKip to L-sitBack kip with straight arms to supportBack kip to handstandFrom support swing backward to handstandV-SitStraddle plancheIron crossStraight body backward roll to handstandPress to handstand with straight body and bent armsPress to handstand with piked body and straight armsPress to handstand from straddle plancheStraight body forward roll to supportStraight body backward roll to supportPull up then lower with bent arms to back leverIron cross to back leverLower from handstand to back leverFrom handstand lower through with straight arms to inverted cross to inverted hangCFrom l-sit, staighten out, lean forward with straight arms then do a piked or tucked forward roll with bent arms to support (hmmm, seems out of place, maybe I'm missing something)Uprise forward to cross or l-crossUprise forward to v-sitUprise backward to straddle plancheUprise backward to cross or l-crossKip to cross or l-crossKip to v-sitBack kip to straddle plancheBack kip to cross or l-crossInverted crossPlanchePress to handstand from plancheForward roll with straight arms to handstandForward roll with straight body and straight arms to cross or l-crossBackward roll stretched out to planchePullup then lower with straight arms to back leverPullup with straight arms to iron cross with bounceFrom support, lower with straight arms to hang then do cross pull to crossFrom l-sit, press to inverted crossFrom cross or l-cross, press to l-sitPress from inverted cross to handstandI'll stop there for now, and to think this stuff all the way to F. Nic Scheelings
How the hell is a straight arm straight body press a B??? Man some B's seem crazy hard and others relatively easy.I don't think you can do any of the front uprise or backuprise stuff without a fair swing going I doubt they could be done on anything less than comp rings but cool list neway. Neal Winkler
Nah, as long as you can hang you are good. With my set up I wouldn't be able to do it though.
