Downing Keith 0 Posted November 23, 2016 (edited) Hey guys, I'm in school for massage therapy, and with all of the study has brought a huge detriment to my posture. Anyone have any good exercises they'd recommend for anterior head carriage? Thanks, and happy gymnasticing (gymnasticizing? gymansting? gymming?) Jeffrey Bittner 1,225 Posted November 23, 2016 Hi Keith, The Thoracic Bridge Stretch Series is great for helping to correct bad posture
Downing Keith 0 Posted November 23, 2016 @Jeffrey Bittner The thoracic bridge stretch series has been great for my posture. My chest is more open the weight of my upper-body feels much more evenly distributed along my spine, but I'm more concerned with the muscles in my cervical spine. I can keep my thoracic and lumbar engaged and still find myself leaning forward just above my shoulders.
Leonhard Krahé 192 Posted November 23, 2016 Hey Keith, have you been stretching your neck outside of the TBs? Especially the sides and especially especially the front?
Downing Keith 0 Posted November 23, 2016 Yeah, I have, but I was just sending out feelers to see if anyone had a sequence that was tried and tested that yielded results.
