I've just restared to practice meditation (using Headspace wich is a nice app, I'm not advertising). I used to practice it some times in past, my longest period of daily meditation was three months and I saw some results, but I haven't been able to be more conistent and to create a real habit.

 In this forum I've red suggestions about meditation expecially for recovery aims. What kinds of meditation do you suggest or prefer and why? 

After I'll complete foundamentals I would like to try to incorporate into in my morning limber routine some mindful movements or better to render all the routine a real movement meditation.

Maybe practicing mindfulness in this way will be easier for me and I'll do it for longer periods.

What do you think about tai chi chuan and qi gong?

Do you particularly like or use some exercises of these discilplines?

Any other suggestions? Also about books, websites, videos...

I do mindfulness meditation every morning when I wake up. There's a great (free) audio series for learning the basics here: http://www.audiodharma.org/series/1/talk/1762/

I've found that as I do meditation more, it has sort of a cumulative effect--as in the longer I do it on a regular basis, the more I see the benefits. It can (and arguably should) be integrated into any sort of physical training, but for me, I feel that getting into the swing of things with just plain old sitting meditation was the first step, and then extending the principles from there into exercise was very helpful. Could I have jumped straight into moving mindfulness? Possibly, but I feel its similar to the progressions in GB where you start off with things that aren't too hard but eventually work your way up into doing things that others consider to be "super human".
