Cikko Lareza
Hello guys, i just have i few questions about side lever. Do u depress your top shoulder or Arm when performing side lever? like pulling. Or u just relax it?Some says your top arm should always be pulling. But in Beastskills.com Human Flag tutorial it says "Despite what it may look like, the top arm really doesn't do much. It DOESN'T pull you up horizontal. Just keep the arm straight and hold on tight." I don't want to endure myself by experimenting different executions like i did a year ago. Btw here's the pic: Left side picture = Top arm/shoulder is depress (pulling)Right side picture = Relaxed Top arm. It's like elevated
Francesco Pudda
As far as I know top shoulder should depress while bottom shoulder should elevate Edited October 2, 2015 by Francesco Pudda
Jon Douglas
Yes, it should be pulling. You might be able to sort of wedge yourself in there if you just hang on with it rather than actively pulling, but you're not going to move anywhere.
