Bob Sanders
Most kids my age (teenagers) do not count their calories or at least I don't think so. I maybe the only one but I stopped doing that now. It was a hassle. And also I don't think kids my age eat every 3 hours especially at school hours. SO how should an athlete eat? I know this one guy in my wrestling team is crazy muscular and ripped. Genetics maybe and longs years working? But how should an athlete eat? I can't really cook. I assume my diet should be high protein? I looking to add some muscle on me. How do guys from the 08 Bejieng Olympics gymnast ate? Probably high protein? My dad was like protein is shiz. (Forgive my French, It's quite good though ) All the Chinese gymnast ate was rice. All these supplements and crazy diets are nonsense. SO what do you guys think about that? Did they really do that? Cause I would rather eat rice or whatever then trying to down a protein shake or meal. I can't really cook. Tunas in can are ok once in a while but gets old if its the normal meal everyday. I don't plan to go back to tuna anytime soon. It may have been 5 months now. Anyway I'm rambling here. SO what do you guys think? My goal is of course to perform better but they only way to really be good at my sport is to do the sport. And I also want to add a significant amount of muscle mass on me. I want alot actually! Taking the idea (not copying) from how gymnasts eat I would like to add that to my meals. Yum! How do they eat though?
Blairbob
Shoot for 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight besides some fat and carbs. even you can figure out how to boil eggs and take them to school. cheese or milk or yogurt for protein or make up hamburger patties to throw on a Foreman grill or chicken breast.
