How they work on muscles and tendons ?

I had medial epicondylitis (golfers elbow) half a year ago and doctor said to me that it would be good to get those.

Does anybody here have experience with those things ?

I have a few that are just neoprene sleeves covering the elbows. In case of golfer's elbow they seem to provide pain relief and heat, and shortening the recovery period (my experience, n=1).

I have never used them during workouts, however, as I think that would be a slippery slope. You shouldn't need an aid to be able to complete your training goals.

A neoprene sleeve might give you some sort of proprioceptive feedback, but the brace for tendinopathy would be a counterforce brace.  You put it on just distal to the medial/lateral epicondyle to take load off the tendon origin.  If it works for you, great, they tend to be hit or miss.
