Jrrh17
I know everything takes time and i am brand new to this (no mobility, used to working out in gyms) I have worked out the same way in the gym for many years and i want to make the switch to make my body more athletic, strong and impressive. Does muscle gain come with these programs? Also how long did it take to see mobility improvement because mine is horrible right now! I also do body weight calisthenics on top of this, anyone else? Jrrh17
can you put on a good amount of lean mass though?
Marios Roussos
Muscle gain does come with this type of exercise, but I wouldn't expect to look like a bodybuilder of fitness model. Rather, depending on your body type, you're more likely to look like a rock climber (provided you have low body fat levels), or given a long enough period of consistent training (i.e. many years), a noncompetitive gymnast. Mobility improvements can take a long time. Coach recommends looking for progress after 6 months to a year of consistent mobility work.
Marios Roussos
can you put on a good amount of lean mass though? My two cents: Putting on "lean mass" depends on your diet. If you're already lean, you have to create a small caloric surplus that will promote muscle growth without too much fat gain. If you're not lean yet, you may need to cut your calories a little until you achieve your desired level of leanness prior to slowly adding back calories to gain more muscle. Depending on where you're starting from and how strict you are with your diet, this part can take quite a few months. It may take a while for you to figure out the diet thing as there's so much divergent information out there. Regardless of what you decide, you should start working on Foundation and Stretch series today.
