Changing body comp with GST

Total newb to GST.  please bare with my possible ignorance.

THE QUESTION:

Can a high-protein weight-maintenance diet paired with GST result in a muscle gain/fat loss body composition change with no change to weight?

DETAILS

-5 foot 11

-178 lbs

-Male

-14-16% bf (just my guess) slight definition to my abs if that helps clarify

-caloric maintenance 2400-2600.

-GST 5 days per week

following a macro breakdown of 30:30:40  Fats:Protein:Carbs respectively

at maintenance would be

-97 g fat

-218 g protein (Woah, definitely enough)

-291 g carb

(obvious room for fluctuation with carbs to protein)

14-16 BF% is too high in my opinion if I were to ever move on to any advanced GST

Would the result be a change in body composition or just stagnation?

My logic: I would stay at 178 pounds but in theory would replace fat mass with muscle mass.

Would this work? Why? Why not?

Just start the program and stop over thinking.

There are people who weigh 200+lb (90.72+kg) using the program, Coach Sommer is presenting to the adult fitness population, who's body have developed more muscle mass, lost excess body fat, and gained strength.

As a side note, I've gained about 5kg this year on gbodies and carrying less bf% than ever. Diet is important but hard consistent work covers a lot of less-than-ideal.

Get strong and mobile, its far easier to achieve other goals after that if you want to specialise to extremes :)

Since starting gymnastics and following Foundation, I have noticed increases in muscle mass especially around shoulders - just try it and see how it goes. :)
