Connor Davies
Uhh, yeah, I guess it's possible..... Why do you want to? (Impaired mobility is the only reason I'll accept, btw)
Biren Patel
Hey, sometimes it's just genetics. Whether you've got long or short muscle bellies, long or short tendon and where it attaches, the size of the lever, distance between the fulcrum and effort...can't change it. You just might be naturally muscular. Uhh, yeah, I guess it's possible..... Why do you want to? (Impaired mobility is the only reason I'll accept, btw) Athleticism? Coach Sommer, for example, has spoken in the past about how some soviet gymnasts were not allowed to ride bicycles for fear of leg hypertrophy.Aesthetics? Ever seen lats so big it looks like a butt? Spinal erectors so thick that they were used as bridge cables post-mortem? Vastus medialis so lumpy your doctor thought it was a tumor?Freedom? I personally know one bodybuilder who refuses to go on vacations because he cant follow his perfect diet and supplements abroad. Also, because he refuses to be gymless. Just think about that man. Someone in this world, with the money, is turning down beach vacations to Bali because he likes his muscles more.

Jason Berger
Uhh, yeah, I guess it's possible..... Why do you want to? (Impaired mobility is the only reason I'll accept, btw)There are plenty of reasons to want to lose muscle mass. Do you know how many sports have weightclasses?
Jason Berger
I would say eat less and workout with heavy resistance / low reps, but if you're buff for no reason whatsoever you're simply cursed with great genetics and may always be jacked. Maybe you can join a support group for other people who are cursed with physical magnificence. P.S. a lot of people in the world are going to hate you.
Connor Davies
Mobility, but i also think that it will be easier for me to preform moves like planche, FL, BL,... when i learn them.I don't know that this will be the case. Sure, extra weight will always weigh you down, but if it's force producing mass then you should still see some benefit from it. Just try to avoid sarcoplasmic hypertrophy and you'll be fine.

Alessandro Mainente
the strength of an person is proportional to the cross sectional area of muscles belly and it's work paired with neuromuscular efficiency. why you should loose some muscle if you need it!i'm 78-79 kg , 8-9% bodyfat , 176 cm. muscles are not a real problem. using you body composition detail appears that you have 12 kg of body fat while i have around 6-7. try to loose the bf instead of functional tissue.
ASNB
I am 91 kg at 172cm and 15 bodyfat. I don't think your proportions are too much of a limiting factor especially if you are starting out in GST. However, the easiest way to do it would be to go low carb in whatever fashion suits you. This will primarily burn fat but after a certain point muscle as well. Bodybuilders do it all the time. Do some research and make sure you do it safely if this is a path you want to take.
fafaedras
first of all, you should drop the bf% to 9-11, which should put you at 75kgs or less. IMO - perfect weight for now. I'm sort of on the same boat as you - 85kgs at 182cms, 14-15%bf and I'm working on getting leaner - should make it more easy. The muscle will help you get stronger faster, the weight disadvantage with lever movements will level out.
