Sameroney Posted April 20, 2009 Share Posted April 20, 2009 HEy Gyus, Hello Coach,i an 18 yrs old, germany and i started gymnastics in the age of 12. in our area aren´t very good clubs, so i trained a lot at home. especially planches and handstand presses. now, i can hold an advanceds tuck planche, and a bend arm straddle. recently, i saw a video where a gymnast pressed to handstand on the bars. i tried it, and failed. my problem is, i only trained shoulders, shoulders and shoulders, so i can´t hold the possition, given in the picturé left on the bottom. my friend sad my hip flexor and abs are to weak.Realy?if, yes, do you now good exercises to solve this problem?thanks!johannes Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
