Ryan Hutchins
I see this thread is mostly about injury rehab. Well i hurt my wrist doing parkour a while back. It has healed relatively well with rehab. But my strength for the back lever is gone! My wrist just cannot support the strain of a full outstretched lever. So my question is how do i rehab my wrist to combat the intense strain of the under-advantaged position my wrist has to be in. Should i begin with tucked back levers as these just cause a slight strain in my wrist? Suggestions appreciated.... :?:
Blairbob
Knock down the progression and make sure to do the wrist prehab series. You can also do wrist curls, grippers, any work with extensors, and that weight on a stick and rope device besides a bucket of rice or sand and working grabbing. Ryan Hutchins
wrist prehab series? I only know of wrist pushups and first knuckle. But thx for the feedback. I didn't know if continuing to train BL variations would be vital or just exacerbate my wrist injury.
Blairbob
sometimes, ya just gotta find out. see if it's the pressure on the wrist that can't hold it outstretched or staying off the wrist.
