loss of mobility

this is a strange think that sometime occurs in my mind..

actually i have a little problem to my left shoulder, seems that i can't pull my left arm straight over the head over the vertical line..practically i can't do dislocations or bridge!

so i'm thinking to don't do these type of movements until pain is gone..

but how much time i have to pass without doing a iM movement before i can see a loss of mobility?

Happens to me as well, not sure why.  I suggest some mobility band work.  Wrap an elastic band around a vertical pole, bend at the waist and hold with your hand as you extend your arm over head increasing resistance pulling away from the pole.  Yuri and Kit have posted some of their ideas on this.  Works nicely.

you mean pull away using the delts not the lats...is correct?

in simple words..the movement is done facing the pole?

just to do a clarification. i feel pain in the shoulders (localized i think in the acromion bone) when i try to raise my arms in the front over the 170°, and on serratus push up

no pain or problems doing press or pull exercises or handstand if i elevate the shoulders.

what can be? maybe an acromion clavicular impigment?

i'm currently doing exercises for rotator cuff as cuban press, L rotations and no problems...

I think it could be 3 things (maybe amongst others) :)

1- inflammation of the a/c joint

2- Inflammation of the bursa (usually due to impingement)

3- Inflammation of the supraspinatus tendon (usually due to impingement, or a tear)

Or any combination of the above.

Ask your doc for a precise assessment.
