Word just came in from Andrew at Cross Fit London on the available times.

 

Saturday needs to be a later start, as we already knew, 1:30 earliest, he suggests 2:00, most likely so the previous group can clear out and ours get in.

 

Sunday however is now completely open, any times will work.

Just saw the group picture from the Strongfirst seminar. Quite a large group and staff. It is on Facebook if you want to see it and be an idea of the group size.

Just to add to the pricing model. To get Ido to do a seminar in Aus the cost Andrew was quoted was 18k, 15k in expenses. Andrew offered him a deal where each would walk away with 10k and Ido said no.

Ido seems to be upping his fee every new place he goes.

 

I think he got about 5k when he came to my studio, and wanted to come back. Then he found another guy in Helsinki to go to, but the price was double. The workshop must have brought in about €10K total. And he's doing that again this year. (Much to my disappointment, I thought Jukka was smarter than that)

If Jukka is still bringing Ido in after having already gone thru a GB seminar, then I am not interested in running a GB seminar there as well.  He can be removed from the seminar interest list.

No problem there, I was meaning to ask you about it, if we started talking seriously about doing a GB seminar with him.

 

If GB wants to do a seminar in Finland, there is no shortage of places, including were we were last time. They are being very supportive of my GB based GST classes and are interested in getting more local Coaches involved.

I'm still not happy with the Cancellation Terms. 

 

 

'Current' Cancelation Terms

 

- Cancelations more than 60 days prior to seminar / workshop

Refund -10% Cancelation Fee

( 3d -$100 / 2d - $70 / 1d - $35 / .5d - $20 )

 

- Cancellations within 60-30 days of seminar / workshop

Refund - 20% Cancellation Fee w proof of illness (or emergency?) only

( 3d -$200 / 2d - $140 / 1d - $70 / .5d - $40 )

 

- Cancellations within 30-14 days of workshop

Refund minus 40%

 

- Cancellations within 14 days of workshop

NO refund

 

Proposed for Outside Seminars

 

minus 10% cancellation fee same cut off as SEB

 

minus 20% same cut off as EB

 

minus 40% up to two weeks from seminar

 

no refunds within two weeks of seminar start

 

Proposed for AZ

 

minus 10% prior to 5 months from seminar start

 

minus 20% prior to 60 days before

 

minus 40% up to two weeks from seminar

 

no refunds within two weeks of seminar start

 

(or minus 10% cancellation fee same cut off as SEB if we use SEB here)

Having the cancellation fees tied to the discount schedules is very good.

I agree, don't know why I didn't come up with that in the first place.

Inspiration is only obvious AFTER the fact.
