Form Check: Pl Lean, Inverted Chinups,

Hey folks - after reading through the Dillon post I added PL leans in to my statics. I'm looking for a form check on them - the first minute of this video has my initial attempts. keep in mind that as each clip progresses I looked at my form of the previous attempt and tried to fix mistakes, so the first should have the worst form, the last should have the best:

Also I'm not sure if there's anything that I might be doing incorrectly with my inverted chinups - I don't really know what the keys to correct form on these are (they start off the video):

annnnd hey - if you're feeling generous with your time/knowledge, feel free to tell me how I'm messing up my basic FSPs in the video below:

Any feedback is greatly appreciated, as always.

Your planche leans are fine. As long as you feel them in your Lats and serratus anterior. Its easier to hollow out the more you elevate your scapula, that way you'll feel it I'm your serratus. It you opt for depression of your scapula then you should feel it in your Lats heavily.

As for the inverted chin up, your goal is to progress into ultimately an inverted muscle up. For now they may be fine, for your capabilities. To pull higher, you'll need to direct your elbows inward to get into the shoulder stand. Using a false grip will help also.

Thanks for the feedback HollowDevl. I plan on playing around with scap elevation/depression tonight in the PL leans i I'm interested to feel what you mean by 'feeling in my serratus' as I still don't have a good idea of what serratus activation feels like.

I am not qualified for commenting on form, but you produced a good effort there, well done; keep at it. :)

This computer of yours seems to be in the way of large young humans falling down from muscle failure or loss of balance during exercise... It might be safe to put it out of the way... :D
