It's gotta be fun. That's why I almost like the GB WOD for a recreational kid is because it has variety. Doing the same thing or something very similar can get old to some kids.
Approach it as structured play.
Basic stuff is learning how to hang and shrug in hang. Fun thing would be doing turns in hang. Hang and learning how to change grips from pronated to supinated to eagle while doing 1/2 or full turns on arm. This is stuff my lil guys would often do for our shoulder warmup. Besides it's fun.
Other stuff such as HS wall walking sideways on a wall in both directions, HS wall walks up and down, HS shoulder taps (wall runs), headstands, forward and backward rolls (be careful about these).
Learning how to rock back to candlestick/shoulderstand and stand up/deck squat. Doing leg lifts in tuck and pike on your back and progressing to V-ups and HLL.
Learning how to support on your hands and shrug in support. Start ring supports with just prone support holds with straight arms and focus on learning how to control the rings. Learn how to hang upside down with the rings super low and doing jumping skin the cats back and forth.
Animal walking patterns such as bear and crab walk, 3 legged dog, alligator, or spiderman.
I dunno, it might just be easier to follow the GB WOD and scale it down appropriately for you and your cousin. This way, each workout isn't super long, you can work in some skill work prior to the WOD and it has variety. My lil guys and I would have fun when we would do the workouts alongside each other on occasion.
Normally for you, I would say some sort of linear based programmed system.
Or you could do something based off the Killroy70 template. Do some static holds, do some bent arm work and then do some core work. Very each movement day to day so it isn't the same. Work handstands in there somewhere. Finish off with a GB WOD/circuit training.
