i just watched this video.. and i thought to myself "you can not be serious right?". some guy compiling snapshots + videos from youtube and claiming he can teach you an iron cross if u BUY his stuff. does it bother anyone else that suddenly sooo many people on youtube claim such things only because bodyweight training has recently become more popular?

It sure does bother a lot of people. This particular product looks like one of the worst offenders, I highly doubt he got the permission of everyone appearing on the clip to use their material.

Adding the Iron Cross as a tack on product to a muscle up tutorial is almost criminal in my opinion. It implies it's something you can learn in a weekend, completely wrong.

Quick Start Test Smith

Why do people think that someone can train them to be able to do an exercise that they can only show by stealing other people's videos?

Elastic Steel has some good products. I'm sorry to see them creating/endorsing this.

I've hit the thumbs down button on this video so my view count isn't confused as support. I suggest doing so if you share my sentiments.

"..is criminal", yes John said the best thing.

my personal opinion is that too much people think that be able to do a skill give you the opportunity to teach and coach.

i came from very many different coaching courses for bodybuilding, strength training , functional training, bodyweigth training, joint mobility etc everyone certified course plus 2 years of gymnastic..i saw one routine designed by these "coaches" and don't pay them for coaching. they think that bodyweigth is just push here, pull there etc. too much factors are underweigthed as body composition, joints prep, mobility, flexibility, individuality, muscles imbalance, postural disorders, diet, current work, past sports, level of strength, balance and much more and i'm sure that BW is the first way to kill someone.

trust in people as Coach Sommer who devote his life to learn, study, experiment and scientific approach. discard who think that be able to do a skill permitt to teach it.
