Zwecke
Hello everybody, this is my first active post on here.. I am following the forums passive for a couple of months now.. I was always interested in train my body with bodyweight excercises only and therefore decided to try some of the gymnastic moves someday..This is what i achieved so far concerning the planche (of what I dream of for long now, but started to train hard for some months ago)hK_qhzKrwKg Latest Update: http://gymnasticbodies.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=7315#p70191Am I on the right way to get it someday? Any tips, critics or comments on it?Best wishes from GermanyZweckePS: Hope everybody understands my English ^^
Ian Legrow
I would say you are well on your way to achieving your goal of the full Planche. I would say the only critiques I have would be, when you are in your l-sit, push your hips forward and flatted your back more. Straighten your legs as well. With the planche I was not sure if you were trying to do a tuck(rounded back) or advanced tuck (flat back). If your attempt was the advanced tuck, you may need to spend a little more time in the regular tuck planche before trying the advanced. If you were simply trying to hold the regular tuck planche, well done keep training.A little side not, your english was great, i love the german language myself, but my teacher in high school gave up on me, so i can say funny sentences like Ich habe Hunger and Ich habe Keine Hausaufgaben (sorry if i screwed the conjugation). Best of luck-Ian
polmod
hi Zwecke! you have some great resistance and strength! i have been practicing PL for about 4 months now and i can barely hold a 5sec adv. tuck! its one of my dreams too to be able to hold a full planche... but i still have a year or 2 to go before that...keep it up man!cheers from EcuadorPaolo
Zwecke
good morning @ IJL thanks for your post!! L-Sit work got some form-improvenent last days.. I noticed that i was making the thing easier than it should be, resulting in horrible form as you noticed.. I am still lacking some flexibility but started working for it hard now..@polmod with a 5 sec adv hold in 4 months youre further than i am in planche development.. But i dont really measure my progress except for some sporadic video taping for really seeing the results.. As long as i reach my goal i am satisfied no matter how long it may take..Any other comments are still appreciated ;-)cyaZwecke

Zwecke
Hey,I am training every to every other day and usually Saturdays and Sundays off.But a bigger workout just every other day.. The days between i am making little volumes on perhaps pseudo planche push ups or frog holds.. unweighted pull up or so..It depends on how i feel and what my body may be capable of.. dont want to hinder recovery...On normal training days I am working the planche progression holds.. back lever progressions, L sit work front lever progressions and weighted dips and pull ups (10kg weight vest) and things that i decide spontaneous.. like handstand push ups.. some dive bombers.. or so...At the moment i dont have access to my rings (at an hotel for 6 weeks) and my workouts look like this:planche progressions (push up handles)L-Sit work..Desk DipsPull ups at the cupboardhandstand push ups at the wallhandstand wall runsab wheel workPerhaps making a video of new progress this or next week.. here in eltville...GreetingsZwecke
