I recently put these together and thought they might be of interest.

They're made of heavy duty plumbing pipe ($8 and there's some left), pine offcuts ($1.50 each), an old broom handle that I cut in two and put in the bars for support and some cable ties to secure the pipe to drilled holes in the pine.

I only weigh 60kg so they seem to hold my weight fine so far, they are light and easy to move out of the way if I need too and they have a bit of flex which is nice.

Thanks :)

I think it's a nice idea, especially if all pieces will stay in their places when practicing. I'm still looking for a solution (which is more related to the lack of space inside the house, in my case) to build a set of parallel bars which can be used for Bulgarian, under-grip & Korean dips at home. I also noticed that you're using that metal construction for hanging the rings and I guess you can use it for pull-ups, too.

It moves around a little, but not enough to cause any issues, and the pine cross bars stop it pulling out of the rack.

The power rack is pretty good, I got a cheap one off a classifieds site. It has a pull up bar I can hang the rings off and the steel cross bars could be used as another pullup / single dip bar because they are height adjustable.

When I'm not using it we hang the washing out on it and have a clothes drying rack that fits inside it. :)
