Coach Sommer Posted June 2, 2011 Share Posted June 2, 2011 There has been substantial general interest in a London based Gymnastic Bodies Seminar for this coming Fall, however at this time we are lacking a person to be the point of contact in the local area to help coordinate the necessary logistical details (facility, host hotel, local group transportation etc). I think there might also be a few other members lurking here, and possibly some of those at the club who haven't heard of Gymnastic Bodies would still be interested as well. The gymnasium could probably be used on the Friday by a special arrangement and then again on the Saturday and Sunday, since there looks to be only one gym session on the Saturday and none on the Sunday.The gymnasium is easily accessible from anywhere in London on the DLR. I'm sure there's probably even a suitable hotel on the DLR, e.g:( http://www.dlrlondon.co.uk/London-Dockl ... mmodation/ )I'm not a member, but it's possible some of the CrossFit London bunch would be interested or that they'd be willing to lend facilities; I see that they have regular gymnastics-focused sections.Certainly add me to the interest list, and I can hopefully relay any queries you have for ELGC to them should you have any.Also, are there any age restrictions on the seminars? Other option I can think of could be Talacre in Camden. I can try to speak to managers at both sites.I could potentially help a bit with flights as well... Around 200$ cheaper than flight destinating Mallorca. You're probably right about accomodation, though. My first priority, however, is to learn a bunch from Coach as soon as possible and it's really up to the budget whether or not I'll be able to this year. I live on the other side of town from Milos, in South West London, not to far away from the Crystal Palace national sports centre and the Croydon school of gymnastics.
