Anthony King
I don't have any place to do these exercises. I doubt I could do swinging dips at my level of strength, but Russian dips are pretty early in the dip progressions. Has anyone seen a piece of equipment--that isn't a competition PB set--for sale that would allow one to do these exercises? If not, has anyone made something like this or seen a webpages by someone who has? I'm imagining something just tall enough to do swinging dips on, which bars just long enough to allow a Russian dip.
Cole Dano
Hah!I've haven't seen one either. So i'm making a set, i have a friend who's a professional welder. The idea is to have something sturdy but still portable, in the sense you can disassemble them for storage and transport. We got pretty far last weekend, and the first set will be done this week.Photos to come.... John Sapinoso
If you could figure out a way to anchor the rings to the floor and the ceiling you might be able to do it on there.Back in the Philippines there was an old fort called Intramuros open to the public like a park and there happened to be a ceilingless section on the wall where cannons used to fit through and I did them there. I'm not saying you'll find anything at all that will resemble that, but if you look around there are plenty of everyday objects or surroundings you can use in creative ways.it's hard to see it in this picture, but there is a cannon looking down a corridor at the very left side and an empty corridor to the right of it, i did mine in the empty one. Guest
Looking forward to the photos, Mr. Brady! I am thinking about a way to make PBs that can be disassembled so I'm hoping to get inspired by your craftsmanship!
Blairbob
Sawhorses should do the trick. SobdjXN4-fQ Rig up something like this. You may have to bend your forelegs back to your butt to clear your knees.
