Robert Siegel
I am new here, totally enjoying all the information, and gradually getting comfortable with the BTGB basics.I am ready to begin (very scaled down) WOD. I plan to do these 2-3 times per week, and do swimming workouts 3-2 times per week (total 5 exercise days per week on average). There will obviously be more posted WOD per week than I can do. Since the WOD are part of a programmed sequence, should I do them in order (and therefore get very "behind" in terms of WOD dates) or skip to the WOD posted on the day I am going to do one?I hope the question makes sense. Blairbob
I would do them in order. My guys were only coming in to the gym 3d/week so I did them this way. Sometimes, I was able to combine them; say if it was a HS WOD and a Leg str WOD. Doable sometimes. I would not necessarily do this if it was a ring series or general strength WOD + HS WOD or dynamic pull/push +HS WOD. Dynamic Pull + HS WOD possibly but not necessarily. Robert Siegel
Thanks, Blairbob, that makes sense. Think I'll pass on the double WODs, though!
GymRat15
I'm new and really enjoying all the reading on this forum. I've started doing some WOD's about 4 days a week. I've been doing them in order and really can tell a huge difference in my performance. Thanks!
Robert Siegel
Another question: Are rest days built into the WOD schedule? For example, are WOD 101213 and 101214 meant to be done on sequential days, while one rest day is intended between 101214 and 101216, and two rest days between 101217 and 101220? Nrxszvo
The numbers of the WOD's correspond to Year/Month/Date! So, the questions you asked were answered by yourself correctly!Peace,Nrxszvo
Blairbob
Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday are rest days. Not necessarily, do nothing days but rest days. A good day to stretch and do mobility work.
