Muscle Up to Back Lever

I was recently told about a move listed as a B skill in FIG that I'm surprised not to have seen more, and haven't seen here in the forums. I don't think it had a name, but it's description is something like... pull up with bent arms (looks more like a full muscle up) to a rearwards scale (back lever). I think it can be a C value if done with straight arms (ie pull up to cross support). I had the guys experiment with it in the gym without much luck. It kind of combines muscle up with some aspects of the Korean dip and some of the 360 pull (pull to back lever from a skin cat hang). I'm hoping to find some video of it and maybe some ideas for developing the skills. Does anyone have an idea of what it is? Can anyone do it and provide a video? Thanks

I think if a skill has a name the code usually lists it under the description. My copy just says, "Vertical pull up with bent arms to hanging scale rearways". Makes it hard to search for videos though

Yep, well think that it is a B so nobody should be doing it in FIG competition. Even the C version to cross would be a low rated skill. I have seen it in L9/10 as my friend's kid competed it I think. Again, probably not done in any Div1 college though maybe somebody does it in NAIGC (doubt it).

This skill was talked about recently in another thread. Can't remember which one for the life of me now.

I dunno if it's done in a false grip or regular grip. False would be a bit easier.

Thanks for the replies guys. I've searched all through the web and the forums, but can't find too much - certainly no videos. Think I'll post over in the digital coaching section and see if I can challenge someone to give it a try and post a video. I'm sure there are a few people here who could do it. Maybe a coach out there has an athlete who trains it?

P.S. Blairbob, you actually suggested this move to ed x as variation/development for his muscle up work.
