Ok so for each 1st week of each FSP on BtGB saids this:
week 1: jump into a tuck back lever, hold
week 1: jump to a straddle L, hold
week 1: jump to an L, hold
week 1: jump into a tuck planche, hold
I mean how do you even jump into a tuck planche?

Those were examples for some one who could do those things. The time frames are otherwise very optimistic. But the idea is clear, as soon as you can get into a FSP via some organized route it is better to do that way as it builds more all around strength more quickly.
You can jump into tuck planche no problem when you can do it that is. Its very similar to jumping up to a handstand, you just retract your knees at the same time.
Jumping into a position loads the joints very quickly which leads to thicker and stronger ligaments and tendons. But of course, being able to do them without the jump would be a prerequisite.
