jamesters
I've seen rhythmic gymnastics do these in the past, but can't find any good examples on Youtube. I really want to learn them because they look so cool, but they're hard to understand. Does anyone have advice for training them, and good way of explaining the mechanics behind them, also any video clips of these skills?
Sternford
Is this it?
yuri marmerstein
looks almost exactly like a meia lua de compasso from capoeira, just with more extreme angles and more of a dance-like kickyou can start with this: then as you get comfortable with it take the leg up higher
jamesters
Cool, I wonder about the reverse illusion, don't know if that's the actual name for it, starts kind of like a back walk over. I suppose I could figure it out by trial and error, but it'd be nice to have a visual to help guide me.
Seiji
I've always known that as a wheel kick if that helps... Probably not considering a lot of martial artists call hook kicks wheel kicks. You'll just have to find some :/You might want to check ballet videos too, I think I've seen a few in there. I saw one in a wushu eagle form too.
