Daily routines for fixing posture (low back pain, thoracic mobility)

Hi @Petra Kmecová, I tried this in my workout yesterday, lifting my arms & legs & pressing my spine down to the mat before I compress into the tuck. One question did you start each rep from the floor with arms & legs touching the mat ? So each & every rep becomes 2 staged movements? Or did you stay in the arms & legs raised position & compress from there for each rep?

Hi @Sarah Gordon.

When I started remastering those, I used that 2 staged movement you described. I had it formchecked OK and was told, if this is my current max, that is OK. But I could not make it pass 5x9r. This hollowing at first is quite tiring. Everytime I tried to smooth it out into one movement and was not careful about enagaging core properly - lower back pain after 2 sessions.

So lately, I've been using second technique you described. Hollowed with arms & legs raised and only compressing on each reps. Out of nowhere, I can do 5x15r of tuck ups and even 5x6r of straddle ups on first go. No back pain, only abs burn. This, of course, would not pass mastery requirements... :-(. But since I am working daily on flattening that lower back to the ground, I switched to this technique. I also work on HS/PE4 twice a week, so a lot of attention is going into this. It a slow process, but it is getting better. My legs are now much closer to the ground when I hollow.
