The video for this showed a guy leaned over a pommel horse w/ someone else holding his legs while he did the move (the thing where you bend over and straighten your body using your back).

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to do this at home w/ no one helping?

Do you have access to barbells and squat rack or a heavy table?

This thread has some ideas.

I'm also about to experiment with 2 door pull up bars (this type) which will act like the two individual horizontal bars in the stall bars used in the technique videos. Similar to one of the ideas in the above thread. One bar across the top of the door jamb, to anchor the adjustable cam buckle gym-ring straps to, and another at the bottom, to anchor the feet on. Then using a dip belt over the pelvis which the two straps are threaded through. If it works i'll post a video. If you never here from me again, it didn't work :)

The simpler and more cost effective solution is to use the table and a gym-ring strap over the table to hold legs in place, but all of these set ups are equipment / location /space dependent.

Greg would you mind uploading a picture or video of your setup?

Hi Luke,

There's a vid of the table set up on this thread. I think there's probably a form check vid in my posts also which shows it in action.

Re the doorway pull up bar I've not yet tried this but i'll attempting soon, maybe tonight or tomorrow, so will post a vid once I've tried.

Greg that solution is simple and ingenious using the XR ring straps. I applaud the safe creativity. Gregory Tan please consider the use of an XR ring strap over the table as in Greg's video.

Here's a vid of the doorway set up. I say at the end the table set up is harder to use. What i meant to say is the table set up makes the exercise feel like a harder progression. I think using the table will help build more strength. Probably due to the gravity. Helps squeeze more juice from the Arch Up lemon!
