Are videos download able?

Hi,

Although I live in Canada I'm rural which means very expensive Internet - it's fast but I already pay about  $150 per month (cell-phone-based Internet).

I like the idea of online course but am concerned that after paying for these courses I'll be stuck daily paying waaay more in total to be constantly downloading the same videos again and again. 

Are the courses primarily video based (which I would like) and if so can I download them (one time) so that my monthly Internet bills don't soar?

Sorry, all of the GB courses are only hosted online and do not offer download capability.

Downloading was problematic due to all of the various outdated platforms that some people were attempting to use.  For example, "I am running windows 95 and my videos won't play."

Would an audio-only option be possible? When I'm in the middle of a workout, I rarely look at the videos and just listen for the pacing or hold times for a stretch.

I've been thinking the same, would be great to have the stretch series audio track downloaded to be able to stretch when network is not available and get all the timings correct.

+1.  One option would be to make the videos available with a disclaimer.  "To those with the technical requirements, the videos are now available for download, for those that do not have the technical requirements or something will not work with downloading, please enjoy the videos online because we do not have the capacity to support video downloads at this time, but we wanted to make them available in case they would work for some."

This would empower those that can make it happen, while not punishing those that can't because they are still available online.  I was thinking this would be most helpful for when going on vacation or camping and I would like to exercise / stretch with the use of a laptop, but not a network.  (Campsites can have power outlets).  Also, it would be cool to be able to do the workouts at the beach.  

No worries if this isn't an option though, it's just a preference, loving the content!

I wrote a list of the elements for FS and TB (MS coming soon) because sometimes my phone battery is low or my internet is slow and have trouble pausing the video back and forth while moving to the next station or grabbing a tool.

I noticed too that during my sessions I rarely looked at the video. My phone is too small to see anything without my glasses. So basically I was just listening and I'm a "paper" generation.

Lately, I've been using my old-fashion paper list, which has the number of seconds for each stretch (in big type I can see without glasses, haha) and any cue reminders I need next to it. I use my timer app with settings for 60/90/120 sec. It's a good plan B. It works well for me although I miss Coach's voice.

Well, I decided to go ahead anyway.  From what I've seen so far (1 week of fundamentals) the bandwidth shouldn't be too bad and I'm guessing later I'll need the videos less.

Loving the course so far. The idea of forcing us to complete each day before seeing the next is annoyingly excellent ;-)

Hi Frasier, I don't think you'll regret it, the content and progressions are fantastic and everyone is helpful on the forum, so if you have any questions, just ask. 

I also wrote down each of the stretch series as i went through the first time, and have em ready to go. I'm a traditionalist and don't like laptops and phones while I'm training,  but eachto their own, it can be very useful
