Especially long elements and how do you cycle them?

1. Which elements (STR+iM) are people taking longer than 12 weeks to complete?

From going through some of the forum posts it looks like people take much longer than 12 weeks for sPL/PE1 > iM (Swivel hips) and RC/PE6.

People in this topic have been reporting that they're taking months to complete RC/PE6

2. Does taking more than 12 weeks to master a particular element mean we're doing something wrong?

e.g. our form is incorrect so we're not actually increasing ROM over time or doing half reps so strength is not developing.

3. Since we're suppose to keep the weeks of different exercises in sync so that the deload week will all be on the same week. What do we do if we could not complete a week on one exercise but complete it on another?

e.g. Last week I completed RC/PE1 week 6 but failed HBP/PE2 week 6. If I only progress RC/PE1 to week 7 my deload week will no longer be in sync.

In order to achieve my 5x5 hollowbackpress I stayed on it for about 5 months.

It happens because body adapts differently from element to element, sometime a parameter like bodyweigth distribution has a significant role. For me horizontal levers take more time then vertical lever.

I have struggled on pretty much all the 60s or 60r elements.  My body (or at least mind) handles low rep high intensity work well but really struggles when it gets into longer durations. But eventually I've managed to pass them all....though currently fighting through RC/PE6 (stuck on 4x48s for a month now).

Regarding scheduling -- you'll need to deviate from the templates as you fight through the HBP progression.  Advance RC to week 7, but repeat HBP week 6.  The next week will be deload week, so do RC week 8 (normal deload) and half the reps for HBP week 6. You'll need to manually keep doing this off-template work for HBP until you achieve mastery and move on to PE3.

At least for F1 there is now GB Pro+ which wasn't available to many of us. It might be able to address most of the questions you raised.

You shouldn't read too much into how long its takes other people to do things. Follow the templates, train honestly and consistently, and maybe your body might respond differently.

The important thing is to never sacrifice proper form in order to advance, because it will catch up with you later.
