Clément POIRET
Hi, I just got ripped hands due to high bar training... So I'd like to buy gymnastics grips (with beads) but my wallet just allow me to buy only one pair... So I'd like to know, which grips should I need to buy to practice mostly on rings, parallels and high bar. I read that rings grips are dangerous on high bar due to the big bead which can block the hand. Can I use High Bar grips everywhere ? Thank you,Clément. Joshua Slocum
Rings grips and high bar grips can not be mixed. My suggestion is to get the high bar grips for now and ring grips later when you can afford another pair.
Clément POIRET
Okay thank you And are beads more helpfull for High Bar or Rings ? (Actually, I just started high bar training but I'm training for the Iron Cross, Planche and some other elements on rings)
Joshua Slocum
You need grips for both events, but you can get further on rings without grips.
