I noticed the hollow back press or handstand looks like more of an arch. Why is it called hollow back and not arched back? Where does the name hollow come from?
Why is it called hollow body / back?

Arch is already used to refer to the opposite position. I'm not sure why the term "hollow" is used instead of something else, though.
There was a thread about it sometime back in 2014 IIRC. Use the search function?
