Hey guys,

as some of you might know already, i have one more month before i leave Germany for 3 full months to Nepal, to be part of a project team of students, building an education centre for the people there.

Means...i will be on construction area for 3 months, probably 6-7 days a week, from morning till evening and i'm pretty sure i will have no power and time or will to spend even a second on training.

Maybe i can do some sport if we are before time plan, but i would doubt that.

So, i will just enjoy the time there and work like a monster, hope that will help me with my comeback to training in April.

How would you prepare for every day hard work like this?

Can i prepare?

My idea was to increase in a steady way my volume of training.(F2 + H1).

So my body is better adpated to regenerate faster and to handle the work load over there.

One month is also enough to become used to this in mind i think.

Would you follow Foundation till last day and how would you? I mean after 3 month the power/technique is gone anyway, right?

Or would you just train stuff like squatting, pulling, pushing a lot, like you do on construction area? and this with high volume?

I appreciate any idea or experience on that :)

You didn't specify where in Nepal you are going, but I immediately started thinking mountains.

My recommendations:

Slow cardio:  Walk.  A lot.  Maybe run very slowly for a very long time, or use one of those airflow restriction masks.  I'm not sure what altitude you are at now, but the biggest problem you are likely to face in Nepal is the low oxygen levels at altitude.  Three months might not even be enough to completely adapt to that.  You'll adapt some, definitely, and likely come back with greatly improved endurance, at least for a little while.

Altitude will affect all your physical activities.  You'll get out of breath walking too fast.  You won't be able to sustain any kind of strength effort for time (if you can do an L-sit for 60 seconds, you probably won't be able to in Nepal).  I just hiked a decent chunk of Peru a few months ago.  It's really frustrating to feel out of breath from jogging three steps, but that's what happens when the air gets thin.

I'd say you should go enjoy yourself and not worry about training.  Train as you feel you can while you are there, but altitude sickness can really suck, and it gets much worse from exerting yourself and/or being dehydrated.  You really don't want to be hauled off the mountain because you are too sick to work, especially not if it is preventable.

Not nearly as bad as I had thought it would be.  It'll still maybe affect you a little bit, but you will probably be able to adapt pretty well to that.
