Ha ha, wonderful! But before the GST vs. CF shots are fired, we should remember that those kids would've crushed 95% of people on this forum too :)

Ha, you're totally right. Might be a good faceoff in the future though, GB vs CF!

Would be interesting to see champions of street workout vs elite gymnasts vs best of the best cross fitters in a competition like this :P I wonder what the order of winners would be.

Most likely the order will be elite gymnasts > elite SW athletes > best cross-fitters. Some top SW athletes might perform better in the MUs and rope climbs than weaker elite gymnasts like pommel horse specialists though.

It would be interesting. At the Crossfit Regionals in Australia there was an event that was a 200ft sprint and 1 leg less rope climb for 10 rounds. An athlete got that event done in 3:29 which was the best time in the world. He did the rope climbs like they were a warm up. I was surprised as I thought that event would really show up some weakness with the rope climb. After the poor performance with rope climbs at the CF games 2 years ago the top athletes do them regularly and have improved a lot.

Good observation.

In my experience, CrossFitters tend to be much better at pulling then pressing.  Generally the deficit between their level of pulling/pressing strength (especially in regards to dips, HeSPU and HSPU etc) is quite distinct.

This pressing strength deficit is why many find a slow controlled MU so difficult.

Especially the transition. I played with Russian dips the other day and my transition strength is terrible. The Foundation series is great for exposing glaring weaknesses.
