Diedrik Jonge
Thanks Mats Trane and Gymnasticbodies.com for an awesome program! I can sleep again and feels as light in my body as I did, when I was 25. This after only 2 month practicing GB foundation one and handstand one. I'm like 47 years old. I used to run a lot in order to get fit and healthy. Although, I got a lot stiffer each year. In November last year, the stiffness culminated and ended up in an inability to move my arms. It all turned out to be I nightmare. I slept maximum of 2 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Unable to move. To get well I tried almost everything. Emergency treatment, MRI, acupuncture, all kinds of pills, cortisone, several chiropractors, specialist doctors, Electroneuronography, osteoarthritis, physiotherapy... and yeah you got the point. Arm movement improved a little bit but I still lacked a lot sleep and mobility. In July I called Mats, told the story and he recommended the Foundation One and Handstand One Bundle. I thought it was way to difficult for my poor arms but I didn't tell Mats. I said sure: I'll try. I started my training the third week in July. After two weeks of training, I slept my first whole night in 8 month. The arm's mobility largely improved. After two month GST my whole body feels a lot stronger AND also a lot, lot lot more mobile. Regain the ability to move is like a gift from above. I feel a lot, lot lighter in my body. GST has given me stronger body and an overall lightness. I’m grateful and looking forward to a fall packed with gymnasticbodies exercises and an even lighter body With all the Happy training regards, Diedrik de Jonge Sweden

Julian Aldag
That's totally awesome! I've had insomnia since my fall last year, so I can emphasize with your sleeping difficulties. But I am glad that you are seeing an improvement in both your health and your body. Please keep us posted on your improvements!
Hans Fredrik Krogh
Thanks for sharing! I was/is in the same boat as you, different injuries, but using the program to rehab. And I think what sets the program apart from the therapies I've gotten from chiros, pts and such is that is it actually fun and very incremental in a way that suits an injuried body.Yes it builds strength and mobility, but it also rebuilds a confidence in your body that I haven't had since early twenties. It's like I slowly stop being careful again and it's making moving fun. ( I used to brace my body so hard when I felt a sneeze coming that my back would spasm for hours, no more so)I found that quite a few of the mobilization from mobility WOD really helped speed recovery along once I finally understood that I needed to look at the joint upstream or downstream from the area giving me grief. ( I.e hips for lower back, and first rib and t-spine for shoulders)Good luck with your recovery and don't despair if you have setbacks, it's just an other chance to learn new stuff about your body:)F
