Front Lever Tutorial and Progression

First of all, welcome
Now time to get more serious
Tip 1:
Buy foundation courses ![]()
Tip 2:
Slow down, go back to easier progressions. Strength training is not only about muscle training, but also connective tissue strengthening. When doing max holds for low secs/reps untrained your connective tissue is worn down to the point of injury. A slower start will strengthen your connective tissue along with your muscles and also boost advanced strength training gains later on since your connective tissue is a potential gold mine in terms of straight arm strength training.
Tip 3:
Alter your training philosophy to not being achieving everything in one day sloppily but rather a little bit a day steadily.
Tip 4:
Upload videos of your training elements so that we can correct your form.
Summed up; on this forum there is a general consensus that one must "master" earlier progressions before moving on to the later. This means that as an example that a straddle planche must be held horizontal, with fully protracted and depressed shoulder, with straight back, with wide enough straddle before going for planche training. Going too fast too soon will lead to injuries, bad form, and plateaus which will result in lack of commitment. At this point your turtles will outpace you and you will be left behind.
I know I may sound rough but however one is wrapping it up their point will be the same as mine. Good training!
In the meantime if you upload a video I am sure we can give you some immediate help in your weak links ![]()
Yeah defenietly start f1 as soon as possible, you have weak spots in you which f1 will fix therefore you will get stronger in every movement l0l
It is possible to achieve a front lever without Foundation courses.
If you want questions on your form, have someone videotape you and upload it on the forum.
If you want to increase your hold times, you can go down a progression and get a lot of volume in there.

It is indeed possible to develop front lever without F series, but you state that in a way that one should not recommend the best way possible. A proper recommendation would mean little to no risk of injury. One recommends F series not to just prevent information leech and to integrate people "properly" in the forums but also for the sake of the person himself, as to give him the best progressions, least risk of injury and best results.
Foundation will give decrease the risk of injury by adding a lot of prehab. Following the "normal" progressions as the people who believe tendonitis is a part of becoming stronger will for most people be inadequade and will lead to bad results.
Im also trying to learn it, I can do pull ups while with one leg extended but when i put other leg i can barely hold it for 3-4 seconds

I was aiming at that direction with my commend indeed and I must say I was a tad bit annoyed when I wrote that. Wasn't the best way to put it indeed.
From what i've read on here and elsewhere foundation is quite good.
I find it a shame though that the number one answer always is buy foundation. It leaves no room for any creative thinking on this forum, which when you look at the older posts (pre-foundation) is what I think made this forum so rich and informative.
Not everybody on here is interested in this forum because of foundation, but because they are looking for a general gymnastic strength forum.
This isn't too much directed at you however, since you've gave him some nice tips.
well thanks guys, i found some progressions and followed now im able to hold 15 sec one leg front lever with good form
btw i need some help on adv tuck planche, i am able to hold 20 sec on tuck planche and i want to raise my hips to go to adv one but as i raise my hips i fall, it isn´t shoulder weakness i think is core, which exercises should i do?
