Fluidity Posted June 10, 2014 Share Posted June 10, 2014 I want to ask what's typically the best time to take creatine on training days if you plan on taking around 5 grams at once? People have mentioned on other forums that creatine slows down gastric emptying and thus would be counterproductive to the bcaa's in whey. So what is the consensus on creatine timing? Daniel Burnham Posted June 10, 2014 Share Posted June 10, 2014 Pretty much any time during the day. I preferred morning. You just need to load it. Once you maximize it is just sustaining that level. Bryan Wheelock Posted June 10, 2014 Share Posted June 10, 2014 I was under the impression you wanted to take Creatine when consuming carbs to get better glycogen loading in the muscles.
