Coach Sommer Posted August 15, 2013 Author Share Posted August 15, 2013 For those who missed the live webstream, the podium training was recorded and is available for viewing on youtube. Several points to remember; 1) This is podium training, not competition. As such there are lots of warmup and skill turns present on the video. It may help to remember that the purpose of podium training is for the athletes to acclimate themselves to "feel" of the equipment. 2) There were only four cameras available instead of six. As a result of this parallel bars and highbar, as well as pommel horse and still rings are both shown on the same camera, at the same time. Floor Video (Allan begins tumbling at the 36:58 mark) Pommel Horse Video (Allan begins at the 17:44 mark, but the view on the video is quite poor with too many coaches in the foreground).
