Handbalancing in NYC and LA

Hey guys,

 

this August I'm coming to NYC and LA for two weeks and I'm searching for good handbalancing teacher/school. Any recommendations?

 

I've contacted Yuri, but I won't be able to go to Vegas. He recommended Circus Warehouse in NYC so I am planning to go there, also.

I've been to Circus Warehouse in NY. It's a great open space to practice. The people that go there are pretty cool and the coaches are really good. I've worked with Matthew Cusick, a very knowledgeable coach and former CIRQUE DU SOLEIL acrobat.

Are you training contortion too? Both cities have excellent flexibility classes you might consider attending.

i am actually in LA looking for a handbalancing school myself.  

 

i've done a bunch of research and have found 2 circus arts schools: kinetic theory and cirque school.

 

cirque school has an intro to handstands class (do not take it.  that class is a joke in terms of learning skill.  it's just about getting people in shape).  they also have a handbalancing class monday and thursdays with sagiv.  i have not tried it yet, but it seems to be a serious class.  

 

both schools are 30-35 bucks per class.
