Ali Dawi
I am currently starting to bulk and I have made this diet to help me achieve a good body with minimum fat gains. I am doing the F1 DVD with some other workouts of my own. (Mostly bodyweight but I am currently using a belt to attach more weight so that I'd start building some mass.) I am not a fan of meat to be honest. I used to be but I don't trust any company with my meat anymore. The way they raise the the animals isn't always humane and I've heard that the oestrogen levels in meat have increased because of the chemical wastes that are dumped in the sea as well as the food that the farm animals get. Nevertheless, I have added chicken to my diet only for this bulking phase. After this phase I'm throwing it out completely and eating white meat only once a month. However, I'd like some help and criticism on this. My caloric maintenance is 2100. I stopped doing HIIT so I am not burning as much as I used to. Michael Soueid
And i was thinking im eating a lot of eggs... You didn't post your Weight/Height but even for a tall and heavy person getting 268g of proteins is a lot. Not that it will hurt you (provided that 268g is below the safe limit of 2.8 per kg) but is probably not necessary. I would cut two of the protein shakes, that would leave you with still around 210g of protein and 2600kcal which should be more than enough for a slow bulk with minimum fat gain. Just follow Joshua's Workout Nutrition recommendations and do the hard work in F1 and you will be fine. Also for a healthy and balanced diet, you should eat more veggies .
Rikke Olsen
I'd change some of the protein for more carbs. But really, take a look at Josh's thread, as mentioned. And search the forum, too - but stick with the newest possible info. Some things have changed quite a bit.
Ali Dawi
Hi there Thank you for your replies. The Vega One gives me 50% of my daily vitamin needs. I have no problem taking out a protein shake or two out of the diet however I am looking for maximum muscle gains over the next month. The month after that I'll be fasting and so I would have to start cutting. Any ideas?
