The counter was a video fx in Sony Vegas. VideoFx/Timecode/Seconds. I nearly did another video of a stopwatch to place in a frame, but the plug in was easier.

Me too - still trying to find the balance line - my wallpaper is getting very dirty with feet scraping along it.

Will be trying to get above the waste paper basket zone (15s).

This is horrible, I have tested it a couple of times now and I can't really even diagnose what's the problem. Essentially it's the balance but it might be coming just for being too weak somewhere in the chain. I really hope I can find one try where I feel somewhat stable to post it.  :)

I got 0:33. My body position went to crap though.... I got shorter holds with pretty good position, but those were on my other arm. Next submission (if it's longer) will have better position.

I had a go today and managed a big fat 0s :facepalm: . Is there any point in submitting an attempt? Or, could I be listed as one of the Minions with 0pts who gave it a go?  :)

My first 10 attempts were all 0 seconds as well. You just need to find the place where you are in balance. At least for us who never did a one armed HS before, I think it takes quite some tries to find that balance point.

That's very true, thank you for the encouragement. I'll post a video tomorrow and do lots of balance-finding today.

Haha, I'm the princess, gonna attempt again soon, I'm sure I can beat Zach!

 

Edit:

I decided to attempt another hold, really surprised by the results! 58 seconds and I'm incredibly soar! So I really think I can beat Zach :)

Video clarifications:

 

1) First demonstrate via a ruler etc that your hand will be no more than 6 inches from the wall.

 

2) Only your time with legs together will count towards your time.

 

3) The video must show your entire body.

 

All three of these items must be addressed for your video to be official.
