Billy Cook
I currently have a non-flexible playground style horizontal bar that I train on at home. The flexible horistonzal bar at my gym makes the skill work alot easier.Anyone have a suggestion for a "flexible": horizontal bar for home use. I installed my playground style horizontal bar in the backyard in holes filled with cement.
Joshua Slocum
What kind of skills do you want to train on the bar? Are you looking to do strength skills, like muscle-ups, or swing skills, like giants?

Joshua Slocum
Unfortunately I don't think you're going to be able to do much better than a playground bar. My recommendation would be to try to make it to your local gym more often.
Cole Dano
A friend had a structure welded, steel posts and a stainless bar. His father was a welder and had access to the proper equipment to make one. Otherwise I'd think you'd be better off just going through a gym supply and getting an adjustable height horizontal bar.

FREDERIC DUPONT
As Cole said, unless you have the knowledge and access to the proper materials, do not try "bricolage" for something that will kill you if it fails!
