My friend is 50 y/o and is a National powerlifter and trains other national powerlifters. I have showed him the training program and explained it to him. The only suggestion he made was to add in light dead lifting for reps.
Other than that he says the programming and progressions are great. And whoever outlined it took a lot of time and consideration into making it. He says everything in F1 would make you a better powerlifter. But! You should only focus on the proposed plan, and a bit of light weight dead lifting that's it. And when you come to the point where you start lifting again you will be lower but you will regain quickly, and surpass.
