Straddle Reverse Leg Lift

The Straddle Reverse Leg Lift is a basic exercise that mobilizes and strengthens glutes for planche and lever work.

Straddle Reverse Leg Lift

  1. Begin lying on your stomach on top of a box and place your hips on the edge so that your legs hang off.
  2. Straddle your legs wide, lock your knees, point your toes, and slowly lift your legs to horizontal.
  3. Continue to straddle your legs as wide as possible during the lift.
  4. Pause briefly with your legs held parallel to the floor, lower slowly, and repeat for reps.
