Arch Body Rock

The Arch Body Rock is a great exercise to activate traps, straighten your handstand line, and fix desk-sitting posture.

Arch Body Rock

  1. Start lying on your stomach with your arms overhead and feet together.
  2. Extend your body as much as possible by locking your elbows, shrugging your shoulders to your ears, straightening your knees, and pointing your toes.
  3. Engage your glutes and lift your hands off the ground.
  4. Now lift your upper and lower body up as high as possible without bending your elbows or knees.
  5. Look up slightly, keep shrugging your shoulders, and then begin to rock forward and backward.
  6. Use your back, glute, and hamstring muscles to rock smoothly toward your chest and then back to your thighs.
  7. Keep a fixed and extended arch body position as you rock back and forth for reps.
